BOOK A PICKUP

Book a pickup on this website or by calling us. We can usually pickup within 1-5 business days.

Pickups are free.

WE COLLECT

We come to your home and collect the things you want to sell.

You need to provide us with details on the items, such as age, damage, number of owners. We will send you an item form when you book.

We give you an indication of how much we think we can get for each item.

WE SELL ON YOUR BEHALF

YOU GET PAID

When we sell your items, you get the cash directly to your bank account. ​

 

We take a 50% commission (plus GST) on every item sold, minus advertising costs.

We take your items to our warehouse, photograph and put them online with all the relevant info. 

 

We use our extensive networks with dealers, traders and online marketplaces to get you the best and fairest price for your valuables.​

 

If we can't sell your item, you can choose if you want it returned, donated or disposed of.​

How it works

  • How much will it cost me to use Flip It Please's services?
    ​We operate on a commission only model. This means that you only pay when an item is sold. We take a 50% commission (plus GST) on every item sold, minus advertising costs (if any). We will talk to you about the potential advertising costs when we pickup your item.
  • Where do you operate?
    We operate in all major cities in New Zealand, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga. We can arrange pickups in other locations as well on request. Please get in touch to discuss this with us.
  • How long does it take for me to get paid once my item is sold?
    We will update you when your item has sold, or on a monthly basis if the sale is taking some time (for special items this can sometimes happen). Once the sale has gone through, you will receive your profit within 5-10 working days.
  • Who will buy my valuables?
    We have an extensive network of relationships with dealers, traders and online marketplaces such as TradeMe. We will tap into the appropriate network that we think will get you the best profit on your special items.
  • What if I change my mind?
    When you book a pickup you sign a terms & conditions that says you understand that you are giving your items over for sale and if you change your mind Flip It Please has no responsibility to return this item to you. We will do our best to work with you on this, however in some cases if the item is already sold that legally binding arrangment takes precedent.
  • What if my item doesn't sell?
    We will give your items a reasonable time to sell if there is no movement we will reduce the price and notify you if we get a buyer for less than initially indicated. If they dont sell full stop we are happy to donate to the charity of your choice or we can deliver back to you with a charge.
